DR. VLADIMIR D. KUSKOVSKI
Dr. Vladimir D. Kuskovski has a truly international background. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Education in Minsk Linguistic University, Belarus. Graduate studies took him to Manchester University in the UK as part of the graduate exchange program.
After moving to the USA, Vladimir Kuskovski has worked as a teacher and administrator in both public and independent school taking an active part in developing IB program. V. Kuskovski later became an IB trainer and IB examiner for Russian A1 and B, and ToK. He received his K-12 principal and superintendent licensure from St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Shortly after that Vladimir moved to Switzerland where he assumed the post of Assistant Headmaster of Leysin American School, where he later became a Headmaster. At the same time he completed his doctoral program in Educational Leadership with a concentration in K-12 Administration. Vladimir since has lead schools in Germany, India and Switzerland again.
In every school Vladimir led, he was heavily involved in campus re design, adapting facilities to new pedagogy, design of purpose-built facilities, master plan design, as he strongly believes that physical environment is one of the key drives in modern education and plays a critical role in student success.
Vladimir is also an adjunct professor as he continues to teach at the University level, he teachers in the Masters in international administration program at the Endicott College and supervisors doctoral students at Grand Canyon University, as well works with Klingenstein Center of teachers College at Columbia University as a field instructor. Vladimir Kuskovski is an active promoter of international education as a vehicle to developing international mindedness in our young through quality education. Vladimir often speaks to schools as well as audiences around the world on international education and cross-cultural communication and school design. He is fluent in his native Russian, English, German and Polish and has a working knowledge of other languages.
