Texas Tech University – Costa Rica Campus

Master Plan, and Design Architect Services
San Jose, Costa Rica

A recent trend in the world of international higher education is for a University to open up a branch, or satellite campus in a distant location to offer their brand of quality higher education to a wider demographic of students. Texas Tech University (TTU) took this concept to an international level by creating a campus over 2,000 miles away from their home campus in Lubbock, Texas. FNI was involved from the beginning of the process helping to plan, program, and eventually design the facilities.

The result of years of collaboration was a purpose built mixed use building in the heart of a thriving mixed use development that offers places to live, shop, play, office space, and with the addition of the university; places to learn. The school currently offers Undergraduate Degree Programs in:

  • Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management
  • Retail Management
  • Mathematics
  • Computer Science
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Business
